To uphold their ISO certifications, MSE must improve green practices on a quarterly basis, and is subject to an annual ISO audit.  Overall improvements have included a massive, companywide recycling program and a concerted effort to lower carbon footprint. 

Attempting to Stem a Caustic Tide
More than 500 million name brand OEM toner and inkjet cartridges are manufactured annually, requiring 375 million gallons of oil for production, and causing close to 1000 tons of pollution to enter our waste stream every day.  MSE is attempting to stem the tide by reusing plastic shells and metal components from approximately 150,000 spent OEM cartridges per month. It also enables customers to return spent MSE cartridges in convenient, re-sealable packaging
